AGC TRAINING CENTER
Designed to support the varied training requirements in the construction industry, the AGC Training Center joins the Association’s Headquarters Building on the same campus in West Valley City, Utah. Building materials and detailing showcase a broad variety of construction trades. Training facilities include a large auditorium, flexible seminar rooms, and inside and outdoor hands-on training areas. The project includes the new 16,000 square-foot building on a 1.5 acre parcel. The building features numerous different construction materials & methods including masonry, light gauge steel, structural steel, wood and timber framing, SIPS, cast-in-place concrete, and concrete tilt-up insulated sandwich panels. The Training Center’s design complements that of the adjacent AGC Headquarters facility to create a unified campus intended to serve the broader building industry for decades to come.
