BONNEVILLE CCC NEW SECURITY ENTRANCE

Archiplex Group designed a new secure entry for the Department of Corrections Bonneville Community Correctional Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The services include programming, project estimating, design and construction administration for the new 1,000 SF building extension and interior remodel. The new entry manages the movement of facility residents by separating entry and exits from each other, accommodate secure searches and provide for visitor waiting. The Bonneville Community Correctional Center opened in the 1980’s and has capacity for 74 male parolees. Its staff works to stabilize and transition parolees, including sex offenders and mentally ill offenders, to the community. In 2015, it began offering mentally ill offenders the BRIDGES course through the National Alliance for Mental Illness.
