CANYONLANDS TERMINAL EXPANSION

Archiplex Group was selected to design an expansion and remodel of the existing terminal, adding necessary facilities to support outbound TSA screening and passenger waiting areas for 70 passenger aircraft plus accommodate changes to airline counters and Fixed Base Operators (FBO). The east side of the expanded facility will become the new focal point and primary entrance. The east and south facades of the existing building and new expansion will be improved by visually joining and blending the two structures together. The design will be complementary to the existing architecture of the south end of the current terminal. New exterior shading, landscaping, curbing, sidewalks, exterior seating and lighting are anticipated. The interior construction finishes will be unified throughout the existing and new terminal design.
