HARPER HANGAR

A private client requested Archiplex to design a new hangar for their use. The project involved coordination and approval from various organizations, including the Federal Aviation Administration, the Salt Lake City Building Department, the Airport Authority, Salt Lake Public Utilities, Rocky Mountain Power, and Questar. The project faced several challenges, such as constructing in the high-security executive area of the Salt Lake International Airport and accommodating late requests from the owner to incorporate two major scope changes during construction. However, both of these changes were approved and successfully integrated into the final building. Archiplex, provided innovative design solutions to overcome these challenges.
