HABITAT PARK CITY

Habitat for Humanity of Summit County approached Archiplex Group about providing pro bono services to design a set of homes in a highly trafficked and visible location in the heart of Park City’s Historic District. The two houses were to be nearly identical. By custom designing and adapting the floor plan template provided by Habitat, Archiplex was able to site-adapt the plans to work with the steep slopes of the sites. Additionally, they were adapted to address Park City’s strict design requirements.

Both houses were designed to sustainable green standards and constructed accordingly. They also continue to perform with low operating costs. Both houses were awarded LEED Platinum Certifications. A third house designed by Archiplex was also completed in Heber City.
