Standard Optical is a Utah-based company with seventeen stores located in malls and retail centers throughout the Wasatch Front. When it was time to move and replace their flagship store, Standard Optical turned to Archiplex Group for assistance. The design team saw this as an exciting opportunity to create a retail space that would not only showcase fashion-forward products but also provide expert optometry services.

Working closely with the owners and EyeDesigns, the design team established a design direction for the retail store that truly embodies the modern, fashion-aware nature of the business. The optometry areas seamlessly transition into a well-organized and efficient arrangement of examination and procedure rooms, creating a welcoming environment for patients. The team also had to carefully plan the doors to accommodate the easy passage of a large portable Lasik machine in and out of the store.
